September 21st, 2011 by

The second day of Sotheby’s Hong Kong autumn wine sales features the Ultimate Nine from the Bordeaux Winebank Collection. Following the success of the previous sales from the Bordeaux Winebank Collection in New York, Hong Kong and London over the past year, this auction will continue to impress wine lovers by presenting a magnificent range of Five Star Provenance Bordeaux from the highly sought after vintages: 1982, 1995, 1996, 2000, 2003 and 2005. Highlights from this selection include over ten cases of Lafite – including six bottles of 1982 and five cases of 2005 Lafite; over 20 cases of Latour including five cases of 2000 and 2003; fifteen cases of Margaux and Haut Brion including 2005 Margaux and 2005 Haut Brion; and wonderful selections of Mouton, La Mission Haut Brion, Pétrus, Ausone, Cheval Blanc and Yquem.
Among the other twenty cellars offered in this auction is a spectacular selection of 170 lots of Château Lafite (1986–2007) from two Rothschild family members, whose wines had never left Château Lafite until being inspected by Sotheby’s specialists.
