Leslie Hindman Auctioneers’ Fine Books and Manuscripts department conducts regularly scheduled auctions of collections large and small consigned by individuals, estates and institutions. Our auctions feature a variety of rare and antiquarian books and manuscripts, with areas of interest including Natural History, Science, Exploration, Americana, Fine Bindings and Leather Bound Sets, Continental Books, Fine Printings, Artist’s Books, Literary First Editions, and significant Literary or Historical Autographs and Archives. The Fine Books and Manuscripts department also handles consignments of Illuminated Manuscripts, Maps, Atlases and Historical, Botanical and Ornithological Prints.
