Reyne and Jonathan make their way around the HADA Show in Houston. 150 Dealers are present to show their wares. Which also means, 150 chances for Jonathan to break something! There is a little if everything at this show, from furniture to jewelry to glass and silver.

Reyne and Jonathan let their inner child loose for a little while, when they pay a visit to Keith, who is an arcade game collector. Did you know Pong was not the first arcade game? Find out what was and have a look at some great vintage games.

Reyne and Jonathan make another visit to LR Antiques to speak to Lara about religious items to collect. We see many unique pieces which are collectible but also conversation pieces in your home. We take a look at rosaries and other cross pieces to menorahs anyone can afford.

Reyne and Jonathan take a trip to Marburger Farm Antique Show, one of the biggest shows in Texas, held twice yearly. Over 350 dealers display their wares at this great event. Reyne stops by an antique textile booth to chat with the dealer.

Pinball wizards, Reyne and Jonathan check out a pinball machine collection. Keith has a collection of these machines that could make anyone fell like they are in high school again. He also has some tips on buying, if you are thinking about getting into this type of collecting.

Action figures are a part of everyone’s childhood but, you may be surprised, that after GI Joe in the 60’s, comic book action figures weren’t introduced until 1971. Reyne and Jonathan pop into Bedrock City Comics for some fun and information on collecting these mini heroes.

Reyne shows us a range of styles of glassware from the early 1800’s to the 1930’s. She starts out with some examples of Victorian enameled glass which is very ornate and was used in formal table settings. Next up is the Art Nouveau style, where the pieces were very shiny, iridescent and free flowing. In the early 1900’s Art Deco was the style, with very bold geometric designs, plus we get a little information on Vaseline glass from this period. Jonathan is on his best behavior and doesn’t break a thing!

Jonathan is safe from breaking anything this time, when Reyne and he take a look at textile collecting. We take a look at antique lace pieces, which are affordable for anyone to collect, and learn a little about crazy quilts. Textile collecting also includes antique clothing so we have a few examples on hand.
